Freed reporter urges Libya to release colleague (AP)

Brazilian journalist  Andrei Netto addresses reporters, during an interview with the Associated Press in Paris, Saturday March 12, 2011.  Andrei Netto was released on Thursday after being held for several days by Libyan authorities. Libyan Ambassador Salem Omar Abdullah Al-Zubaidi said Netto was arrested because of mistakes he made in forms he filled out to enter Libya. Netto had been imprisoned with a correspondent for Britain's Guardian newspaper, Ghaith Abdul-Ahad who is still in custody in Libya.(AP Photo/Remy de la Mauviniere)AP - A Brazilian reporter who was freed from detention in Libya has urged Moammar Gadhafi's government to release a colleague from a British newspaper who is still held in the violence-wracked country.
